Don’t be persuaded by all those crazy television commercials!! Yesterday we talked about different ways in which people try to persuade others and the quality of the evidence that is used. We continued our work on persuasive writing by looking at some examples of persuasive essays and then used a persuasion map to organize the main points and examples in the essays.
Homework: Complete the persuasion map on your topic.
Remember: Bring any confusing or difficult homework to class on Monday. If you have all of your homework completed, bring a book to read.
