The last few days of classes will be busy. We will be having a DGP quiz on Friday, and a test over Lupita Manana next Tuesday. In class on Friday I will be returning all of the writing that you have completed over the last few weeks so that you can do the extra-credit assignment if you so desire. This assignment is due next Tuesday. On Friday, we will also be reviewing for the Lupita test. Keep working hard for the next week and a half!

Today we began working on fluency. Everyone chose an article and read it aloud to the other group members. We will be working with these articles on Thursday, so be sure to bring them back. Your homework is to read your article aloud three times, and one of those times you need to read it to your parents. Have a great night!

Today we took our DGP quiz, and I’m confident that you all did very well! We discussed the travels of the characters in our book and saw how far they actually walked!! Remember that your "Middle School" essay is due next Tuesday. It should be five beautiful paragraphs filled with your wonderful memories of middle school.
