Stories of Survival

Today we began our Thematic Unit on Survival.  Over the next few weeks, we will be reading books that focus on a survival theme.  We also read some real-life survival stories and discussed the traits that are necessary in survival situations.  We will begin our books next week.

Don’t forget to bring your notebooks and textbooks to class tomorrow.  You should have the following in your notebook: Indian Colonialism, Gandhi, Vietnam, Communism in China, The Legend of Hua Mulan, and Legends & Cultures.

Legends and Hua Mulan

Korean Conflict

We learned about the conflict on the Korean Peninsula today in class.  We are finished with all of the content material for the CRCT, and I am confident that all of you will do very well on Monday’s Social Studies CRCT!
