Economics: April 29th to May 3rd

Important Upcoming Deadlines and Events:

1.  Study sessions for the EOCT will be held after school on Tuesday and Thursday in room 118 and before school on Thursday and Friday of this week.

2.  The End of Course Test will be given next week May 6th through the 9th.  Honors students will take the test in one day while regular level students will take the test over two days.  Once the EOCT begins there will be no further review sessions for it.

3.  Projects:  Honors  -  The Budget Project is due by the end of this week (May 3rd)

Regular  -  The Personal Finance Project is due on the first day of the EOCT (May 6th or 7th)

4.  The EOCT study guide is due on the 2nd day of the EOCT  (May 8th or 9th)

5.  After the EOCT we will continue working on preparing for the Final Assessment Test (International Trade Test) that will be given as the last test for the course.

Learning activities:

 1.  Students will learn about the effects of government interference on Supply & Demand  through the use of Price Floors and Ceilings.

 2.  Supply & Demand Curves Practice Quiz

 3.  Market Structures Project Questions and Discussions and time to work

Homework:  Begin work on the Market Structures Project.  Study for next weeks Unit 2 Test.  Come in for extra help in order to take the Unit 1 Make Up Exam.  (Exam to be given before and after school on Thursday Feb. 28th and Tuesday March 5th)

ISS/OSS/Sick Work:  Read Chapter 6 sections 1-2 and complete the section assessment questions at the end of each section.
