If anyone wants/needs extra credit here’s your opportunity…..using the vocabulary words from lesson 12, write a story (minimum of 3 paragraphs) using all of the vocabulary words. Circle or highlight the vocabulary words. The amount of extra credit you earn will based upon how well you use your vocabulary words, length of story, creativeness, etc. The extra credit will be due on the day of your vocabulary quiz.

Classwork:
- Homework (classwork from yesterday, but you could’ve finished is for homework last night) check
- We discussed how you can tell if a sequence is arithmetic (you have to have a common difference (represented using the letter "d") between each term…..so you have to add the same amount to each term to get the next consecutive term)
- We worked multiple examples together on the board, and you seemed pretty confident using the arithmetic formula.
- Remember, you can have one notecard to use on the test on Monday. On the notecard you can have the arithmetic formula written on one side (you’ll find out what goes on the other side tomorrow). I will be collecting your notecards on Friday, and I will give them back for you to use on your test on Monday.
Homework:
- Given 6, 10, 14, & 18…..find the common difference and find the 25th term
- Given 5, 10, 15, & 20…..find the common difference and find the 15th term
- Unit 8 test – Monday, April 30
- Lesson 12 vocabulary quiz – Tuesday, May 1
