Don’t forget Thursday is the Renaissance Carnival…..be sure to bring a water bottle and money if you want to buy a soda or a sweet treat. It’s going to be warm, so dress appropriately, but remember school dress code is still enforced.

This will be the last official blog of the year…..I won’t be posting anything of importance from here on out, so if you have a specific question, please e-mail me
In 7/8 today we finished up the last section of Unit 10….I told you it was a quick one. I told you we would not be having a test tomorrow. Some of you are concerned about your grade, but I think once you see the grade tomorrow you’ll be okay with what you earned.
In 7 we are watching a movie, and we’ll finish it up tomorrow!

- You took the integer quiz over addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. If you did well, and you wanted the score to count, then I added it in the gradebook. If you didn’t do so well, and you didn’t want the grade to count, I exempted you from the quiz in the gradebook.
- We played a review game of Jeopardy

Classwork:
- HW Check of section 7.6 (it was a completion grade and then you checked your own paper to see how well you did)
- We went over a few questions you had in preparation for tomorrow’s test….some of you came up and asked specific questions
- You received a letter stating your test grades thus far, and your overall test average…..you need to show your parents the letter, get a signature (either on the letter, on a note from your parent, or an e-mail from your parent), and show me the signmature so I can mark you off on my roster. If you don’t show me a signature, I’ll make a call home to give your parents the info and they probably won’t be happy to hear it from me instead of you
Homework:
- Get letter signed
- Study for Unit 9 test

On Monday we’re going to have a quiz which will address adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers…..be sure you brush up your basic skills because some of you could really use a good quiz score to bump you up to the next letter grade or to bump you up to passing.
