February 10 and 11 – Sound
February 10, 2009 by admin
Well I am back from jury duty. Nobody is happier than me. While I was out, I had you working on new material from Chapter 21 which is sound. If you missed some class the week I was out, you should complete the questions at the end of each section in Chapter 21.
Today we finished our "Tuning Fork Lab".
If you did not finish it in class, I have included the power point to help you complete it at home. Remember, this is a quiz grade!
Here it is: Download Sound Lesson and Homework
I also let you get a head start on your homework which was the "Oscilloscope Flip Book". An oscilloscope is a scientific device that analyzes waves. If you need to, I have included a description of the homework assignment in the above power point.
We also have a test on Tues/Wed of next week!
HW: Finish lab and oscilloscope flip book
FYI: Test on Tues/Wed of next week on Sound (Chapter 21)
Here is an oscilloscope!

Can we see a video of an example on how a oscilloscope works?
They look like a lot of fun!!!!!!
Maybe we will be able to get our hands on one!!!!!
NEVER KNOW
