November 19 and 30 – 3 Types of Levers
November 20, 2009 by Mr. Vreeland
Today, we had a lab on simple machines (levers to be exact). We will finish this in our next class. My “A” day has already started this lab but my “B” day won’t start this until after break.
Over the vaca, get some rest and relaxation.
Remember to spend a little time on the science of sports project. I advised that people be done with the paper part of the project by 11/20. Remember the essay represents 80% of the final grade. Think about what you will present to the class on 12/3 or 12/4. A good place to get information from is your essay. If you haven’t cometed the essay, I would do that first before I finalized my poster and presentation.
Eat a lot of turkey and watch football!

HW: Finish writing essay about the science of sports. Complete your poster and think about how you will present. Final projects are due the Thursday and Friday you come back (12/3 and 12/4)
Mr. Vreeland,
Can you please post the rubric for the writing portion of the project on your blog? I think it fell out of my backpack as I was walking from school.
Thanks,
Walker
W,
I don’t have an electronic copy of this rubric. Please come and see me first thing on Monday and I will try and help you out.
